This Privacy Policy describes how Domain Licensing LLC, doing business as Timerist and Workoutist (“Timerist,” “Workoutist,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), collects, uses, and protects information when users access or use the Timerist mobile applications.
This policy applies specifically to the Timerist and Workoutist mobile applications distributed through mobile app platforms such as the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
The Service includes:
- Timerist mobile applications
- related mobile services and features
- integrations with mobile devices and operating systems
(collectively referred to as the “Service”).
Timerist provides digital timing tools designed to assist users with organizing workouts such as HIIT, Tabata, and interval training.
Information We Collect
Account Information
If you create an account through the mobile application, we may collect:
- email address
- username
- password (stored using secure hashing or encryption)
- saved timers and workout preferences
Users may optionally provide additional information such as height or weight for certain features such as estimated calorie calculations. Providing this information is voluntary.
Device and App Information
When you use the mobile application, we may automatically collect technical information including:
- device model
- operating system version
- device identifiers
- app version
- session duration
- timer usage events
- crash logs and diagnostic information
- approximate location derived from IP address
This information helps improve app stability, performance, and reliability.
Activity Logging
We log events including login, profile views, timer_created/modified/imported/exported, failures. Events include user_id (when signed in), timer_id/name/origin_id, app_version, platform/model, device info, session_id, details/outcome. Creator attribution links to workouts for popularity analysis. Events may be sent via Firebase and queue offline, syncing when online. We do not sell data.
Analytics
Timerist uses analytics tools including:
- Google Analytics for Firebase
These analytics tools may collect:
- device identifiers
- session statistics
- app interaction events
- performance metrics
This information helps us understand how the mobile application is used and allows us to improve functionality.
Users may opt out of certain analytics tracking through device privacy settings where available.
Advertising
The mobile application may display advertising through services including:
- Google AdMob
Advertising services may use device identifiers or similar technologies to:
- measure advertisement performance
- deliver contextual advertising
- deliver personalized advertisements where permitted

App Permissions

- analyze long-term trends and popularity of workouts/timers (including by creator where attributed) via anonymized/aggregated interaction data (creation, modification, import/export, loading/usage, views/completions)
- generate insights, reports, or articles (e.g., quarterly/annual "Most Popular Workouts") using only anonymized/aggregated data
- feature/recommend content with non-personal metrics (e.g., "Imported by X users" or "Created by community member and popular this month")
We may also use aggregated or anonymized data to improve the Service.
Sharing of Information
We may share information with trusted service providers that assist with operating the Service, including:
- analytics providers
- advertising networks
- cloud infrastructure providers
- crash reporting services
These providers process data solely to provide services on our behalf.
We may also disclose information if required by law.
Data Security
We implement reasonable safeguards designed to protect user information, including secure authentication systems and encrypted password storage.
However, no internet-based service can guarantee complete security.
Data Retention
We retain information only as long as necessary to operate the Service or comply with legal obligations.
We retain anonymized/aggregated event data (including historical counts, trends, popularity metrics, creator-attributed aggregates) indefinitely for analysis, trend reporting, and content creation. Personal data is retained only as needed or until deletion request (subject to legal exceptions like CCPA).
Users may request deletion of their account and associated information.
Children's Privacy
The Timerist mobile application is not intended for children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
International Users
Timerist operates primarily in the United States. Information collected through the mobile application may be processed in the United States.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Updates will be posted within the application or on our website with an updated “Last Updated” date.
Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
